At Alquimia Verde, we are a team dedicated to preserving some of the traditions of the Valle de Lecrin and the culture of Andalusia. Led by Jose Manuel Alguacil, his partner, and his mother, we strive to keep the spirit of the valley alive. We have the help of volunteers who come from different backgrounds and nationalities. They live with us at the farm, and we all learn and share together as a family.

After years of exploration and travel around the world, he returned to his roots, embracing a life filled with the land, his community and the fruits of his labor. At Alquimia Verde, we embrace the values of ecology, agroecology and environmental stewardship. We strive to achieve a harmonious balance between our olive groves and the native vegetation that surrounds us, as well as to care for the animals and insects that help us find a respectful coexistence with the natural world.
